The best pub we managed to find in Bristol city centre! Barman was very helpful as we weren't from the area and needed to find our way to the football ground. Also welcomed us to go and get some food from the little market up the road and bring it back to eat in the pub. Worth popping in - Thatchers Gold on tap, and I think two or three real ales.

We were looking forward to visiting this pub... opened the door to be told, in no uncertain terms, 'we're closed' and this was 12.30 on a Saturday. Shame...

Nice to be able to sit outside. Bloke behind the bar didn't seem really interested in what he was doing. Couldn't see much of the pub inside as we'd all be dazzled by the sun outside!

The Reckless Engineer, Bristol
Not a bad pub. Good range of ales but music was too loud! A few undesirables in there but no bother.

Nothing positive to say about this pub. No real ale and expensive. One side of the pub was closed with its lights off.

Not a bad pub! Plenty of drinks to choose from, 4 real ales and various ciders. Was a bit disappointed I hadn't seen the Thatchers Gold on! Quite a popular place and very tidy. Shame the place has seen the original interior taken out

Not very lively when we went in but seemed ok. Only one realy ale on though. Nothing to write home about

Well it's shut now anyway for the time being so you won't have the delights...

Not my favourite Everards pubs. Smells funny as you walk in and I've never found it to be that welcoming of an evening. Many of my friends are big fans of it though.

Definately to be avoided! Not very welcoming, quite scruffy and changing prices with each round... say no more

What a cracking pub! One of my favourites, particularly as it serves obscure real ciders. Amazing choice of real ale and always busy (which says something in itself). Great idea to encourage people to bring their own food in and this definately adds to the friendly feel to the place. Highly recommended

The Lost and Found, Birmingham
Not the greatest of pubs. Service slow at lunchtime... just another Marstons wreck

Not the greatest of places at the moment but is apparently having a refurb between Jan and March so we shall see! Was quite impressed with the cheap drinks early evening but no real ale at the time, only Tetley's Smooth

Great location and good stopping point when coming back from Dewsbury/Huddersfield. Have never seen the place busy midweek but have no complaints about the beer. Some staff better than others at making you feel welcome. Careful not to trip over the cat on the way in!

The West Riding Refreshment Rooms, Dewsbury
Always seems to be a busy place, especially early evening after work. Food is very good, especially the curry nights! Serve a good range of ale. Staff are ok. Great location, and I've only missed the train at Dewsbury once!

I can understand why people think the lady behind that bar is rude, but me and my mates always have a good laugh with her! I don't think she means to look 'unwelcoming' as some have put.
I've become a regular in there over the past few weeks and don't plan on changing anytime soon. As for a lack of atmosphere... I think the character in the place makes up for that. Well I'd recommend the Ale Wagon anyway!

The Robin Hood, Stretford
Not very good publicity in the minute... what a dreadful incident to happy. Just hope the owners don't suffer too much
