The New Inn, Witney

Friendly pub away from the town centre circuit but loads of real ale and a knowledgable landlord

Beaufort Arms, Kittle

Very busy pub--- in summer anyway. Food seems to be the most important factor and although we didn't eat the amount of wastage left on the tables outside would have fed a starving family for a year.Perhaps if it wasn't so busy the real ale MIGHT tempt me back.

Silktork is exactly right here,we arrived on a Sunday lunchtime to be regarded as a bit of a nuisance as we were not dining. Also it IS very prim and proper. Having said that, it also was very popular.
