Apparently a favourite of Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. Nice man. Tuna - 13 May 2017 12:51 |
Good beers and a good atmosphere. We didn't eat there, but enjoyed our visit. xforward - 20 Sep 2011 19:19 |
Lovely beer garden and building, with both dining and bar areas indoors. Had a couple of local ales on, and the one I had was in good condition. They also had some cards/dominos that could be borrowed for free in the bar area which I like. Note that the menu is Caribbean food only - if this is what you want, great, but perhaps not what you'd expect from an otherwise traditional Dorset pub. aaroncp - 14 Sep 2010 09:52 |
Yuk from the beginning to the end, probably the worst Beer I have ever been served, couple that with the filthy conditions and it is one Pub never to be visited again. Avoid unless you are dying of thirst or hunger. honest_john_666 - 13 May 2010 19:57 |
Lovely garden and a friendly welcome. Beer pretty poor. Food above average - watch that jerk chicken though its pretty lively! Caribbean chef even makes the tomato sauce in kid's spaghetti a little spicy so my two little ones really struggled to eat it. One big concern is cleanliness. Toilets were disgusting so it was no great surprise to see a dead cockroach in there. In addition the owner's three great danes were wandering around the kitchen on the lookout for food and the owner didn't do much to stop them. Wrexy - 6 Sep 2009 17:58 |
