| Went on the off chance on a Tuesday for something to eat and a couple of beers. Was quiet, but had three beers on (Mr Chubbs, Doom Bar, Hogsback HBB) in excellent condition. | New chef does a very good (and short) menu. Very nice starters, main and desserts. Three ales on, Abbot, West Berks Mr Chubbs and a Twyford brew. Sampled the Mr Chubbs and it was very nice. Landlord was pleasant and attentive and the waitresses were efficient and (hope my wife isn't reading) very pretty.
