Nice wellcome by the landlord, landlady and pub dog! Some lovely ales and a nice cosy woodburner was very appreciated on such a cold day. Well worth visiting.

An average experience. Not very exiting range of ale - only had two John Smith's ales on when I visited. A clean establishment, the food being served looked quite presentable. Nice beer garden

Three Golden Cups, Ogmore By Sea

Called on a very sunny sunday afternoon, the beer garden was very busy. A good mix of younger and older customers with a very friendly atmosphere. Two ales were available, Sharp's Doombar and St. Austell's Tribute, both in good contition. Apart from the service a bit on the slow side, I would make the effort to return there. Did not eat there, so I can't comment on the food.

A very pleasant evening spent at this charming semi rural pub. A good selection of real ales were available including Kellam Island Pale Rider, Swansea Three Cliffs Gold, Wye Valley Bitter and Dark Star American Pale Ale. All were in good condition. Dog Dancer Cider from Gwynt y ddraig was also available on the pull. Excellent quality food also made the evening a very pleasant experience.

Lovely old pub full of character. On the down side, the real ales served to us on the last two visits were almost undrinkable and the lady behind the bar was not very helpful

Will not be returning to this pub. Unhelpful landlady and beer was undrinkable. Having visited most of the pubs in the good beer guide in west wales, this has to be the worst one to date. Hopefully CAMRA will remove this from the book
