Just think the last review is a pile of crap. It is a great pub with a great atmosphere you obviously dont no what your talking about seems you must see people different to the way your snoby life is. I came to Swansea and loved the schooner very welcoming and great locals. You obviously dont no how to enjoy your self so everytime I and my family come to Swansea we go to the schooner inn. What a great pub love the place. And just just shows u should just drink in morgans hotel I think you will fit in right there coz there all up there own arse with silver spoons. Well I don't know what's happened to it since the reviews below were given, but it seems to have turned into a backdrop from the film 'Deliverance'! We went there on the strength of the previous reviews and were greeted by those kind of slightly aggressive and leery locals which tell you this is a pub going to the dogs. We felt very unwelcome - like we were an object of curiosity and suspicion. They want to watch the fact they've got those same locals lighting up inside the pub too. Not nice. betterpubsforswansea - 25 May 2009 01:59 |
great local pub with disco for the youth at the rear plus a fantastic function room for parties me4u - 13 Apr 2008 14:51 |
Awesome pub just on the doorstep of wind st. Great service very friendly good to watch the footie in and has a pool table at the rear. It is the type of traditional pub thats relaxing and much different to those new bars on wind street. Glad I found it on this site! mitch31 - 26 Jun 2006 17:56 |
a bolt hole away from the madness on wind street at the weekend, friendly atmosphere, shame they got rid of fosters though! mikeSWANSEA - 11 Sep 2004 19:57 |
