| Another great stop off point for myself during V09. This one is a large pub, with a fantastic area out back that had an extra bar, music stand, only criticsim is not tons of seating space but adequate. The inside is a tradional feel, and was packed. | A really great pub with good (mostly home-cooked) food. The range of beer is quite extensive and staff are very friendly a extremely efficient. The decor has recently been greatly improved and Rob, Ellie and Barry the joint leasees are really making this the pub to visit whilst in the picturesque village of Writtle. hibberbo - 30 Oct 2008 09:32 |
