Nothing about the present pub as havent been there. Historically it is actually the home of British Radio as the very first shows were put together in the pubs bar and then broadcast from an ex Army Hut somewhere down the road I think for about 15 minutes per week around 192? Currently closed and being redeveloped to reopen as the Blue Bridge. Sign outside says opening in November but seems ambitious given current state. wallet - 23 Oct 2007 17:46 |
