A bit of a daytime drinker's den and we were no exception. The music was excellent and of a retro style while a pint of Laine's was serviceable. Scruffy and not especially engaging but did the trick as a stop off. BoehmBawerk - 1 Oct 2014 21:08 |
Really good pub actually. Decent bitter and lager. Nice staff and great position on Queens Road. pubking78 - 17 Mar 2014 13:43 |
Impressed with this hostelry upon my visit Polite service, with an upstairs section which looks like it could do live music in a jazz atmosphere. Only stayed for one pint, but if upstairs, poke your head out the window to the right and enjoy the great sea view the_original_rawnsleys - 13 Apr 2012 14:13 |
Now under new management - helpful friendly staff This pub always had potential, looks brighter and beer is good. New menu starts next week. If you've not been in recently might be worth a pint! albow - 11 Jun 2011 16:11 |
Almost triangular shaped pub. Pie menu varies, they are quality pies although some may find them expensive at 4+. Hosts a comedy club upstairs on Saturdays. supporter of local breweries. Leicesterbeer - 25 Oct 2010 21:00 |
