Not the best pub in the area. Went in with my son to have a quick drink. The selection of ales was pretty poor. Son bought me a lager and we sat down. After a few minuets son asked young barman if he could put the Horse Racing on that was advertised outside. Barman said he will ask the manager as he is not allowed to change the channels. After 40 minutes we left and they still did not change the channel. I heard they only show pay TV and not the Council TV that I wanted. ITV 1. Lager was ok though. droggs - 29 Jan 2019 00:00 |

Went in to watch the football as we had a few years ago when we visited Brighton. Orders a beer and burger meal but we were told that both the beers offered with the deal were off - no alternative offered! We asked if we could have anything else and we told no, 'if we haven't got it you can't have it' we were told 'we don't have to offer an alternative'. Appalling attitude, grimy pub with a lot of worked needed on it. The bar was empty, every other bar in the area absolutely packed to bursting, they need to work out why! Looked in and came out, nasty little hole, like the one in Croydon. Masterpint47 - 23 Jan 2014 23:46 |
Lovely atmosphere! Have been there to eat during the day and during the evening and I have never felt anything other then welcome and safe. great value for money and lovely staff who know how to do their jobs very well. I do think the beer garden could do with a refurbish though Eddyboy - 25 Sep 2011 13:04 |
