| What a pleasant surprise had a quick pint here on this beautiful sunny day and noticed the amazing looking food ! Had to try it my girlfriend had mussels in wine and chorizo and I had the burger all home made and very tasty will be coming back great food for people who appreciate quality. | Friendly city centre pub in a busy pedestrianised area. It could probably could do with some modernisation but it gets by. The outdoor drinking area is rather tightly packed with lightweight 'tin'tables, most of which wobble on the uneven pavement so be careful your drinks don't spill. We didn't eat on our lunchtime visit but the beer was fine and the service at the bar fast and efficient. Excellent stop off on way to or from the shops!
