| This is now a Joules pub, and very nice to! Two bars, one more food, one more beer.. Didn't eat, but food looked good. Lovely courtyard outside. All the Joules staples, Slumbering Monk, Pure blonde, pale plus Christmas old No.6.(and loads more). Interesting place Bridgnorth... definitely try the Cliff Railway and visit the SVR.. | We were recommended to eat here by the landlord of another pub that didn't do food. The sizzling steak platters are impressive but all the food is good honest fare with no frills and at sensible prices. | Large white rendered Banks's house, with open plan interior and beer patio in the yard. The interior is a mix of plain wall and wallpapered walls, with some old pictures on the walls. Had a dining area and lounge - the latter with a wood floor. It was clean and friendly, with its own skittle alley. The beer on offer was Banks's Bitter and MILD cask on electronic pump, with Jennings Honey Bole and i think another handpull. Honey bole was fine. | The food menu remains unchanged, but the quality is even better. The Gammon is highly recommended, and helpings are generous. Good Banks beers and always a guest ale. Well worth a visit for an evening meal. julestrainspotter - 22 Sep 2008 13:36 |
