A proper 'local' with the local 'lads' watching the match on the telly. I should have therefore knew not to go for proepr beer - had a pint of Spitfire (the only ale on) which was awful. Stick to lager if you go here. anonymous - 18 Oct 2009 20:42 |
To be fair it's the real village pub with the Football team, Cricket team, darts Team, Aunt Sally etc etc all centred there. The beers good, and it has a good Chinese takeaway built in - what could be better, order the food and have a beer (or two) while you wait. beermonster_01 - 20 Mar 2008 14:47 |
Can be a friendly local most of the time with Sky TV sports, pool, aunt sally and darts meaning a succession of visiting teams. Nice garden in summer with tv outside for smokers. Small bar area and internal Chinese takeaway!!!!!. anonymous - 6 Oct 2007 19:11 |
The pub was full of cheery conversation when we called in and was another popular pub and busy. Had a Bass here that was in good condition. gillhalfpint - 29 Mar 2007 12:41 |
