I obviously meant to say "Everards pub" in last comment

Everts pub that looks to be recently renovated, nice food and a lot of the floor plan seems to be set up for dining. Actually quite a big pub if you look around the corner from the bar. Normal range of everards beer on cask. Has a nice beer garden out back as well and is nice if sunny, if a little too pricey to go to too regularly.

Recently renovated but kept in the same style and tradition. Nick, the new landlord, is very friendly and accommodating and keeps the beer in good condition. It's an Everards pub but with the occassional guest beer. The staff (especially Sarah) makes you feel like part of the family. Have not tried the food yet but have heard it is very good.
It's definitely worth a visit.

The vast majority of this pub appears to have been closed down. Only three ales, all Everards (Mild, Original and Tiger). Landlord was snappy and rude. I don't know if this is as a result of his pub going down the pan or the cause of it but either way he shouldn't take it out on his paying customers. Students not welcome. Odd that this is the case because the Dry Dock makes a killing.
