The Cricketers Arms, Leamington Spa

By far the best pub in Leamington. Pretty with great views in a pleasant neighbourhood. Four handpulls including Black Sheep, Landlord, Slaughterhouse and Old Rosie. Friendly barman let me charge my phone!

Prices are around £3.50 for a pint of cask, or £3.90 for a Guinness, but that's Southern prices for you.

The Beaconsfield Hotel, Barnard Castle

Does anyone even maintain this site anymore?

Closed down as a pub. Now an Indian restaurant.

The Town Hall Hotel, Richmond

A Heineken (Star Bars) pub. Sells the rare (round these parts) Newcastle Exhibition. Usually one cask ale from the Heineken range (ie Caledonian or Theakston). Recently refurbished to a high standard. Quite a large, open plan pub. Quiet on weekdays, but becomes more of a nightclub on weekends and gets absolutely rammed. Excellent jukebox, pool table, fruit machines, quiz machine. Beer garden round front.
