The John O'Gaunt Inn, Hungerford
It may be Greene King but they always seem to have several guest beers. The staff is very friendly, the Landlord welcoming and the beer is served well. The food is also good and there are frequent "international nights" with interesting menus.

Recently renovated but kept in the same style and tradition. Nick, the new landlord, is very friendly and accommodating and keeps the beer in good condition. It's an Everards pub but with the occassional guest beer. The staff (especially Sarah) makes you feel like part of the family. Have not tried the food yet but have heard it is very good.
It's definitely worth a visit.

The Old Poet's Corner, Ashover
Went for New Year's Eve fancy dress event. Packed with very friendly customers. Sampled their selection of about 7 Real Ales and they also had 5 ciders and a perry in the basement. Great place.
