Very pleasant, extremely clean, very friendly, excellent service from Polish manager. Lovely on a Sunday evening for a quiet drink. Have not eaten here yet, but hopefully next time! Very nice!

My Father had a family birthday party here for 15 people and everyone was very impressed by the quality of the food. Good friendly, but unobtrusive service. Cannot understand why it is not more popular with the high standard of food on offer. Would have given a 10/10 if the beer was better kept.

I'm fortunate enough with my job to eat at some of London's best restaurants (celeb cheffy type places). The food at the ferry is comparable. Always very very good.

Im quite gutted I missed out on the "old" Ferry as from the picture it looked old school. The current one is nice enough but not enough tradition for me. The food looks expensive but is supposed to be very nice. Since I moved here my mum suggested we eat at the ferry but I said nuts to that, the City Arms has proper pub grub and no remortgages required to pay for it. Nice pint of San Miguel at the ferry though

Went back again over the bank holiday weekend and ate this time. Meal was fantastic and service was attentive, if a little chaotic - just one guy running the bar and serving the food. From what I overheard it seemed like all the other people eating there really enjoyed their food too. A couple did get turned down as they had not booked and the chef was strict about closing the kitchen at 9pm. Still seemed a nice place to have a drink even if not eating.

This is fantastic place to eat. New management and now is called The Ferry, it is refurbished and decorated to high standards, looks like this chef has worked for Gordon Ramsey in Claridge's and he owns this place. Anyway the Steak & ale pie was absolutely delicious, I can't wait to go and have same meal again.

Back to being the Ferry again under new management. Seemed very pleasant when I went in of a Friday evening. Quite busy with a nice mix of people. Menu looked quite tasty too. No sign of the meatheads that used to frequent it during its brief time as the Cornerhouse.
|
Being refurbished with a new name - 'The Cornerhouse'. Work still in progress.
|
Shut. Didn't last long.
|
Pub's gone - refurbed as a gastropub without the gastro. Okay if your brain is footie-focus and your god is tv. Beer is London Pride or trash.
|
Has reopened as The Cornerhouse. Popped in the other week. Layout is exactly the same, but all the old carpets and whatnot have gone and it now all wood floors, cream wood tables, comfy sofas and the like. You get the drift. Think there were teething issues - one real ale - Youngs Ordinary - was off, the other - Pride - was insipid and warm, and was then taken off as I was mid-way through my pint. Barman was laid back shall we say. Number of flat screens in there, so it's going for the sports market I wager. I don't think I'll rush back

Has been closed down for a while now. Shame.

Went there last friday. Great music. Superb beer - they've got Black Shhep Bitter and a great pint of Broadside. Lovely old fashioned pub full of locals and regualrs. The prices were great and the atmosphere superb, Well worth a visit when you're in the area.

Pleasant little boozer. Reasonable prices. Real ales well kept. Occasional live music. Pleasant staff.

This pub used to be Brilliant. I used to really enjoy going there.
Recently a new manager took over and things changed. The prices there are now way too much, compared to others near by. This new manager, named Neil I think then took out Sky Tv which I always enjoyed! Also I had a favorite barmaid there who was stunning and such a laugh. She poured the best pint in Thames Ditton and was also the sexiest around. Her name was Hanna. Where has she gone? Does anyone now if she's moved elsewhere!! Let me know. I think this pup needs a helping hand.
Ah well there's always the one over the road!

This pub is staggeringly cheap, without being a cr*p Wetherspoons. No chavs, good music, it's great, give it a go for sure....

Very friendly Polish barmaids trying their best. The pub istself is a bit twee and old fashioned but I enjoyed my visit and I would definately go back.

Cutest sexiest barmaids I saw anywhere when I was in London recently. Especially the blonde one who stood smoking B&H at the bar while chatting to the manager(?) who was friendly himself. She was really lovely and all the staff friendly. At the Races on the TV (this was Friday night). Best fish & chip shop I've ever been in is just across the road. Def. will be back to Thames Ditton
