Very pleasant, extremely clean, very friendly, excellent service from Polish manager. Lovely on a Sunday evening for a quiet drink. Have not eaten here yet, but hopefully next time! Very nice! morocco - 23 Sep 2011 17:11 |
My Father had a family birthday party here for 15 people and everyone was very impressed by the quality of the food. Good friendly, but unobtrusive service. Cannot understand why it is not more popular with the high standard of food on offer. Would have given a 10/10 if the beer was better kept. jack_fate - 24 Jul 2011 12:37 |
I'm fortunate enough with my job to eat at some of London's best restaurants (celeb cheffy type places). The food at the ferry is comparable. Always very very good. craigvmax - 20 Apr 2011 10:33 |
Im quite gutted I missed out on the "old" Ferry as from the picture it looked old school. The current one is nice enough but not enough tradition for me. The food looks expensive but is supposed to be very nice. Since I moved here my mum suggested we eat at the ferry but I said nuts to that, the City Arms has proper pub grub and no remortgages required to pay for it. Nice pint of San Miguel at the ferry though pompeyron - 15 Nov 2010 14:18 |
Went back again over the bank holiday weekend and ate this time. Meal was fantastic and service was attentive, if a little chaotic - just one guy running the bar and serving the food. From what I overheard it seemed like all the other people eating there really enjoyed their food too. A couple did get turned down as they had not booked and the chef was strict about closing the kitchen at 9pm. Still seemed a nice place to have a drink even if not eating. slabghost - 1 Sep 2009 15:58 |
