The Anchor Inn, Godalming

Open plan music venue. Open Mic night on the Wednesdays with regular bands playing at the weekends. One real ale on.

Rodboro Buildings, Guildford

Good Spoons but getting a little run down now, the inside needs a Gordon Ramsay style face lift.

The Britannia, Guildford

It is alright but not that great overall it feels a little bit of a rough boozer which is rare for Guildford, i certainly did not fancy the outdoor seating area at the back but a couple of good real ales on.

The Keep, Guildford

Good food and a good Surrey Hills but you're right Graham it is always pretty much dead especially at lunchtimes.

The Stoke, Guildford

Does a rather disappointing pub quiz on the Tuesday but a good pub for Real Ale and a Game of Pool nontheless.

The Star Inn, Guildford

Does a pub quiz on the Tuesday but that is not exactly worth attending. Come here for the music or for the excellent Shepheard Neame beers.

The Cricketers, Cobham

Rubbish portion size for a so called started but which was tiny! for an expensive price too - bad coffees.

The Castle Hotel, Bramber

Disappointing visit with the locals looking around as people go in an order food. I don't like the idea of stalls around the bar area which simply block the way - can't these old gits grap a proper table.

Bar Centro, Guildford

Had a dream last night that I was in this place. I can tell you it was very very strange.

The Boileroom, Guildford

Visited @ Weekend. More beers on offer than in the past. Lager likes will have a choice of Red Stripe, San Miguel, Grolsch and Carling. Not to mention bottled beers. Guinness and Newcastle Brown provide alternatives. Does get very packed at times.

The Keep, Guildford

Fantastic.

Auberge, Guildford

Nothing interesting about this place at all. Feels like it has had no atmosphere for years and years. I'll buy the Ford Focus please. Almost as cheap as the beer here.

Scrumptious, Guildford

Bearable.

The Keystone, Guildford

Barmen just dont do it for me, ;-) know what i mean. come here for the beer and atmosphere instead.

The Britannia, Guildford

Pews, Guildford

Good old fashioned pub/eating place.

10 Jan 2009 21:33

The Thai Terrace, Guildford

One to take the G/f.

10 Jan 2009 21:33

Fahrenheit 55, Guildford

Cramped and not always that enjoyable. Ok I suppose.

Jo Clarks, Guildford

Cafe.

10 Jan 2009 21:32

Slug and Lettuce, Guildford

A place I try to avoid if at all possible.

10 Jan 2009 21:32

Farriers, Guildford

Crap restaurant but ok pub does have some pretty decent ales at least.

10 Jan 2009 21:31

The Royal Oak, Guildford

Nothing wrong with a tv mate, don't be so old fashioned! Good pub, expensive beer but ok fullers which is good.

10 Jan 2009 21:31

The Robin Hood, Guildford

Ok beer. Agree with BeerSupper. The landlord guy (with lots of hair) is crazy.

10 Jan 2009 21:30

The Albany, Guildford

Good pub and good beer. Worth a visit.

The Goldsworth Arms, Woking

I'm glad others have seen what a crap pub this is. The 50 pound a ticket is no surprise. It has been going this way for ages. Will anyone turn up - that is the question??

26 Dec 2008 16:30

Old Orleans, Guildford

Ok - I suppose, I like the name and the fact its next to the cinema. Not a good choice of beer. Stella and Corona from last time i Saw.

26 Dec 2008 16:19

Bar Med, Guildford

Apparently there was some garage music here the other night. Not exactly the sort of music to bring in a better class of crowd.

26 Dec 2008 16:17

The Chameleon Bar, Woking

Ok if you want a drunk night out - but not a place to pull classy girls.

26 Dec 2008 16:15

The Bed Bar, Woking

Not good. Over-priced and whats with the silly Black and White new years eve bash? No good beers really, polish lager better than Fosters and San Miguel i suppose.

26 Dec 2008 16:14

The Cricketers, Westfield

Better than it used to be. It would be ashame if it closed. Can be very empty as things go.

13 Dec 2008 19:09

White Hart, Old Woking

Not too bad, if you don't mind being in a pub full of dogs.

13 Dec 2008 19:08

The Crown and Anchor, Old Woking

Look forward to seeing what has happened with the refurb.

13 Dec 2008 19:08

The Queens Head, Old Woking

Interesting, as I never went to the Queens Head. Where do these so called troublemakers go now? White Hart or Cricketers, can't see it being The Crown and Anchor or Kingfield.
