The Moot, Sneinton

Great place. Friendly staff. Fantastic selection of ales. Atmosphere is spot on plus they have a plasma screen for the Cricket and Rugby.

Only thing stopping it getting a 10 from me is the fact that it's too open plan with no comfy seating.

Still though, I have a lot of time for this place.

The Lamp, Sneinton

It's saying something when a pub had grates over all the windows, which, have still managed to be broken in a couple of places and have stayed that way for well over a year without anyone bothering to replace them.

Add to this the fact you have to knock to get in, it doesn't add up to a welcoming experience.

Last time in there a friend of mine was greated with "bones get broken in here you know" by one of the locals.

Stear well clear of this hole.
