I have to say that my recent visits have put me off. Don't know what's happened! sadly this pub is not going in the right direction. dillon13 - 2 Mar 2012 00:03 |
once again this pub has gone downhill now that again there are new owners. they seem to be trying hard but not succeeding and unfortunately its showing. I really hope they can turn things around but I wont be going back in for a while until I hear better reports. come back harvey and james! rejectanon - 17 Jan 2012 19:20 |
What a great real beer AND cider pub to discover in Nottingham. I visited with some friends last week, and was blown away with the choice available on pump. I tried "Solar Power" from Purbeck which was absolutely amazing and "Purity" from Ubu also amazing, my mate tried Black Dragon Cider and had more than one pint! If all pubs were like this one, with beer and cider as it should be, in excellent condition, then the customers would return time and time again. Great atmosphere too, friendly knowledgeable staff, i'll definately be visiting again and taking more friends. 10/10 deserved! copyright - 17 Feb 2011 14:20 |
I absolutely love this place. brilliant space, always a nice atmosphere around the bar. The new landlords know what theyre doing with the real ales and ciders and theres always a good selection available. Ive even seen a couple of decent bands down there recently. this pub deserves to be more well known than it is...really worth a visit!! progressboy - 6 Feb 2011 13:10 |
Hadn't visisted this pub for a few years due to average selection of beers and service! Been a few times now and pleased to say the new landlords have really turned this place around, Great Beers and impressive real Ciders on pumps, excellent quality and really great atmosphere has returned, will definately be visiting again soon. dillon13 - 13 Dec 2010 15:05 |
