A super place. Now owned by Lanes. Renamed from Redback. Spacious brewpub with well appointed/adorned side annexe hosting range of activities from comedy, circus to table tennis....simultaneous if I'm playing T-Tennis. The Micro brewery behind the bar produces a decent range of ales. Wide mix of customers. Can't comment on food except it looks popular and the tables and chairs are big and solid. Enthusiastic helpful staff. Very well served by public transport. The only negative/oddity is the beer prices seem quite random...from great value for the House brew to crikey, how much!? but that was on a busy night just before Christmas.
The folk I have taken here have been mighty impressed. Just 500 yards from Acton's other super brew pub, The George & Dragon (Dragonfly brewery), makes this gem well worth travelling to. Well done Lanes!

Very pleasant looking pub both inside and out in suburban rural location. Decent clientele. Large lawned beer garden to front, cricket green to the left. Last visit 4 pumps serving Vale Brill, Rebellion, one other I can't remember the name of and the dreaded doom bar (c/o Coors mega brewery Tadcaster). Small selection of bottled UK and foreign beers.

The Middlesex Arms, South Ruislip
Now a Green King establishment. This cavernous 1930’s boozer has recently been transformed at great cost inside and out to a high standard. Lots of tables, seating, stools, super comfy bench seats + pool table. £3.80 for one of the 3 available cask ales which was in good order, to be expected being casque mark accredited.
Bit of a footie pub with various big screens dialled in to sky sports. 2 minute walk to South Ruislip Station for Central underground and Chiltern main line- 8 minutes to Wembley Stadium, 18 mins to London Marylebone- TFL oyster card works.
Opposite is a public car park and Sainsburys store.
