Go often. Bar Staff and Landlady very friendly. Beers and wine good selection. Food OK. Landlord is a prick. Get a personality sunshine and get that chip off your shoulder.

The Bear Inn, North Moreton

Excellent pub. Food reasonably priced as is the wine. That means a couple of sandwiches/baguettes and chips and a bottle of wine for �25. Not bad for nowadays. We used the area to the left as you walk in, there are some sofas where they are happy to serve food if there is a lack of tables. Have now been several times.

The Lions of Bledlow, Bledlow

went here last year. It was comedy at the the bar, a lone eastern european chap was barely coping with the lunchtime rush. fortunately we were not in a hurry and ordered some food which did take an hour to arrive but was actually acceptable. mind you it takes a bit to cock up a ploughmans and a mushroom stroganoff. poked head in the door the other day - looks like same management. Shame because it's a nice pub in a lovely setting. The garden is scruffy and needs some attention.
