Sloanes, Leicester

Not much to look at, but they have got the most important thing right.... the Beer!! Had an extensive range of around 12 beers on during our visit and was much taken by some of the Dark Ales on offer. Found the staff to be both friendly and efficient.

Called in briefly on a Saturday morning for a swift half and very good it was to. Must mention excellent Indian restaurant next door!

The Market Tavern, Lewisham

Finally closed after years of downward spiral. Was once a great venue with a ten pin bowling lane at the back of the pub.
