Called in briefly on a Saturday morning for a swift half and very good it was to. Must mention excellent Indian restaurant next door!

Finally closed after years of downward spiral. Was once a great venue with a ten pin bowling lane at the back of the pub.

Irish Eyes...... Read my comment? I too was having a bit of a go at the unfavorable comments!! It was someone else who talked about the price of Fosters (wouldn't drink it if it was free). A small constructive complaint.... I am all for music but not so loud that your glass rattles.

Just a good, honest old fashioned local with few tourists. Beer is ok, the locals fine and there is usually music at the weekends. Glad to see that the council have seen sense and it will remain open. Just hope that developers/designers don't get their hands on this one.

Prefer next door (The Union) but have never had a bad evening, pint or service. More of a 'local' and usually a bit quieter

The Greenwich Union, Greenwich
Always enjoy the beer here but can get very busy at times. Could always pop next door to the Richard I which is also a good pub but a little quieter

Never had any problems in the Ship and the visit last week was no different.A good selection of well kept beers on offer. Good venue in the summer and they have outside heaters if you want to venture outside in the winter when can get quite busy inside.

The Cutty Sark Tavern, Greenwich
Have enjoyed some good evenings here but this could be influenced by usually beong the last pub on the crawl round Greenwich. Food looks good although not tried it myself.
Beer is fine and always have a least one draft cider.

New landlord making an attempt to spruce the place up.Think the last two reviews are slightly unfair as the general mix of people in the place seems the same as usual..... yes there are the boys in Burberry but they have always been there as have the big mix of "older" and black drinkers.A reflection of Lewisham's population and all the better for it.
Beer is OK, pride is always drinkable.

Sloanes, Leicester
Not much to look at, but they have got the most important thing right.... the Beer!! Had an extensive range of around 12 beers on during our visit and was much taken by some of the Dark Ales on offer. Found the staff to be both friendly and efficient.
