I know I must be a rare thing a female beer drinker and it can be a help as most landlords think us women know nothing about real ale but how wrong can they be.I live in a small town in wiltshire and salisbury is the nearest '' Big'' city and its a shame that there is not that many pubs that sell a real good pint, but i must say there are 2 close to the station that do one is Deacons and the other is the village the latter has my top vote though. avoid first 3 pubs to see when you get off the train though if its a nice pint you are looking for.
