The Wellington, Walton on Thames
Trying to be a gastro pub with fancy menus and over priced basic food but unfortunately nothing on the menu is available. Get a grip and go back to basics, this is Walton

had sunday lunch on 25/05/08. was ok but not as good as Rising Sun Hampton Hill. agaian Garden facilities for children fantsatic and never felt uncomfotable about having children with us. Only thing I would say is that we have been in quite regulary now over the past few years and none of the bar staff or landlord have bothered to make an effort to get to nkow us.

The Park Lodge Hotel, Teddington
went in the other night and fell asleep listening to all the locals talking about how much their houses were worth.

great garden for families with designated play area for kids, only one i know of in local area but inside needs attention.
If your looking for a couple of drinks when in town at the weekend and you have the kids with you this is pub you should go to.

Although I have not been in this particular pub I agree with vandal31 keep pubs as pubs so that you can pop in for a couple of beers and a chat without feeling like a lepper if you are not ordering food.
The Swan has gone the same way and it will realy suffer in the winter now that they have done away with the little bar (for locals) and all the the once a year half a bitter merchants with there over priced sunday lunch have gone back into hibernation and there is nothing to attract anyone into the pub.

like so many pubs along the river took to long to be served and was not even busy.

The Best Sunday Lunch by miles, no wonder you have to order in advance. well done for restoring my faith in home cooked pub food.

The Bell, East Molesey
went in on Saturday 24/05/08 thought the place lacked charisma and is purely relying on the age and history of the building.Great Garden though
