The Queens Head, Stow on the Wold
Popped in for a pint whilst on a long weekend break in Stow. Nice traditional pub. Had a welcoming feel depite us being strangers. Donnington's BB was a very enjoyable pint, didn't have time to sample the SBA.

Northbrook Arms, East Strotton
Popped in for a pint having moved back to the area after 6 years. Lovely little pub in a very pretty village. Three ales on tap, I tried 2 which were excellent. Despite having to wait a while to order as the bar lady was dealing with a large group she kept acknowledging us so we knew she hadn't forgotten us - excellent customer service. Didn't eat but menu was varied and food looked good.

Oh dear. Had been recommended The Queen Inn by a number of people who used to live in the area until recently. How things must have changed. Been in twice and the beer was very disappointing. Warm, poorly kept and I tried all three on tap - London Pride, Courage Best and Directors - not the most inspiring selection in the first place. Had one meal also which was very average. Such a lovely building and great location, it's a shame. Can't fault the service though. I'd happily go back if the beer was worth it.

The Duke of Cumberland, Henley
This has to be my favourite pub! Amazing character, great staff, fantastic beer and stunning food. The new extension has a great feel. Gutted that we're moving awayfrom the area but will definitely be back at every opportunity. 10/10

The Winterbourne Arms, Winterbourne
Bar area is nice but restaurant area a bit out of keeping and very cramped on the 2 occasions I've been. Food was excellent though and the 2 ales well kept.

Great pub. Excellently kept ales, usually 3 or 4 localish brews on the pumps. Good honest food. Wish this pub was within walking distance!

Have lost count how many times this pub had changed hands in the last two years but I can happily echo 'Heslop's' praises. Landlady is very welcoming, the ale is excellent - Bowman's Swift One & Ballards Best - and the food is also extremely good and sensibly priced. Long may it continue!!

Popped in for a pint and a sandwich, both of which were very pleasant. On tap were Timothy Taylors Landlord, Doombar, Courage best and London Pride. Was pleasantly surprised at the price of a pint - 2.60! Only critisim was that it would have been nice if the service came with bit more of a smile. Would be happy to go back though.

I've known this place for near enough 20 years. Now, more of a gastropub than a pub pub but beer is consistently good and great choice from Hobsons, Purity Brewery (Ubu & Gold), Flowers, Hook Norton amongst others. Food is great if you want to eat. If there was a more spacious bar area for drinkers as opposed to diners then this would almost be the perfect pub.

Wow, what a fantastic pub! Just popped in for a pint and a sandwich and recieved the warmest welcome from the Landlady I think I've ever have as a new face in a village pub! Ended up have 2 pints, Flower pots and Dark Star Hophead - both excellent. The ham and mustard baguette was possibly the best pub sandwich I've ever had too! I'm desperate to take the other half there to dine properly as the menu looks great and if I can persuade her to drive home, all the better! There were 4 real ales on offer at the time. Brilliant pub 10/10 just wish it was within walking distance.

Popped in for a couple of pints and a sandwich. First time I'd been and was really pleased! 6 real ales and a couple of real ciders to choose from. Staff were really friendly and the food was pretty good too. Lovely peaceful setting - would highly recommend!

Great pub! Had dinner 2 evenings in a row whilst staying nearby and the food/service was excellent. The beers were in topnotch condition with 4 ales on tap: Greene King IPA, Hobgoblin, Woodfords Wherry & Tribute. The village is also Idyllic.

The Fleece Inn, Bretforton
Gorgeous pub in fantastic picturesque surroundings. Been wanting to visit for a while and finally made it. Beer was excellent, tucked into the Gravedigger Mild and Asum Bitter from the Evesham Brewery. 4 ales on offre and similar number of ciders. Friendly, helpful staff and loking forward to going back to try the food.
