| We went along on New Year's Eve - it was pleasant enough, no rowdy prats but more noticeably a distinct lack of beer on tap. I guess the icy roads had put paid to deliveries but it was disappointing nonetheless. I've been here three times now and I'm not totally convinced, but compared to the frankly dire choices in Haslemere/Shottermill/Hindhead, going here is a reasonable option. pkrp - 15 Jan 2011 20:08 |

| quick detour here for a swift sharpener resulted in a rather splendid pint of pride, another of a well-served fosters and a pleasant half hour's visit to a lovely country pub. | Popped in for a pint and a sandwich, both of which were very pleasant. On tap were Timothy Taylors Landlord, Doombar, Courage best and London Pride. Was pleasantly surprised at the price of a pint - �2.60! Only critisim was that it would have been nice if the service came with bit more of a smile.
