A cosy little pub, off the beaten track but well worth a visit.

Expensive: not much atmosphere; a trek to the toilets and your drink has gone when you get back!

The Bat and Barrel, Luton

A sporty pub with big and little screens. Most live sports covered: PPV too. Never TOO busy. Canny pint. Good selection of shorts (malt whisky, spiced rum) Shame about the guvnor (only joking)

John Bull Pub, Warsaw

No atmosphere whatsoever. A cold boring pub with poor beer and unsociable bar staff. Give it a miss.

Morgan's, Warsaw

Friendly Paddy landlord; very cute bar staff; live music; as good a pint of Guiness as you'd get anywhere.
