The White Horse Inn, Beverley

The best pub in the country !! Old !!! Old decor with Victorian gas lighting, open fires, marble-topped, cast iron framed tables. I remember it when Nellie was the landlady and there was no bar, only casks held by the wall. The Sammy Smith's beer is still as good, as it should be, given that it comes from a well 162 years' old. Unfortunately, I now live far south in Hertfordshire, so only get to Beverley once a year.
