Remarkably good Coach House Britannia Bitter. And only 1.65 a pint!

Modern style but very nice. Nice food on Thursday's and weekends. Often a decent pint of Theakstons.

Needs a bit of decoration but I found the place to be very friendly and had a fine pint from the Rossendale Brewery, a micro from where I rarely get to sample.

Now re-opened and finally doing real ale...of moderate quality but worth a pint

Had Beartown Kodiak Gold and and Black Bear when I was in plus another guest and a cider, so a good range. The Beartown was very nice and beats most of the same old real ale choices in most pubco pubs (another Bombadier anyone?).

Went in for the first time recently and felt very welcome. I find Doff Cocker always tastes foul at the best of times so tried the guest Tetley Green Shoots at 1 a pint. Not remarkable but very drinkable and well kept, so I had no complaints.

Well worth a visit if only for the decent Bank Top ales at outrageously reasonable prices. Keep up the good work.

Can't fault the ale in this place. A real boozer with a lively atmosphere.

As Holts pubs go, this is about the best around. Fine bitter, mild and guest. Always friendly and cosy despite the size of the place.

Excellent ale on my visit with 6 hand pumps including Marstons and Jennings. Friendly welcoming place. A more than decent local boozer.

The Crown Hotel, Horwich
The best Holts pub for miles around and a place where you are always made welcome.
