Grog and Gruel, Fort William

Havent tried the food here but got no complaints about the beer and the service. There was a nice little scots folk band playing when I was here.
( Why do scots folk bands play so much irish folk music? Theres plenty good scots music!)

This is a popular nightspot. The only problem here is getting served when its real busy, but isnt that the case everywhere.

This is a good locals bar. Friendly efficient staff and good beer.

Budz Bar, Aberdeen

Very good nitespot. A long, long bar means getting served is usually no problem. Prices are ok for a nightclub. Usually got some special offers on. Nice mix of clientel.

The Broadstraik Inn, Elrick

Always busy, which is a good sign. Good beer, good service, friendly natives. A very nice place to go for a drink.

Its a student pub. Its next to the Uni. Not bad at all.

Very good bar. Good live music. A bit studenty at times, but thats not a bad thing. Apparently God used to come here (millym). Cant be bad eh!

If you want to drink and chat, this is the place.
Great selection at great prices. No music. A real drinkers paradise.

The Auchmill Inn, Bucksburn

Might be ok if you're a local. If not, be prepared for hostile natives. The best thing about this pub is the door out.
