The Star, Standon

Ate here and was unimpressed with the standard of food. We waited absolutely ages for pretty run of the mill food. Would not return again. Staff were not very friendly either.

Visited this pub on Saturday 28th March 2009 and would recommend to all. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pub was clean and tidy, the food was reasonably priced and we did not wait ages for it to arrive. The drinks went down well too. We intended to do a pub crawl but returned here after half and hour away. It was a pleasure to spend 6 hours or so here. Would totally recommend and will definately return. 10 out of 10
