Seven of us visited the Parrot couple of weeks back food excellent and Adnams very good as always, we'll be back in August...

The Parrot and Punchbowl, Aldringham
Visited the Parrot during August, very busy, excellent food and very well kept pint of Adams. The Staff were friendly and attentive. We will be visiting again shortly.

Ye Olde One Bull, Bury St Edmunds
Visited in November the beer was excellent both Adams and Wherry, the staff attentive and pleasant, the food was good with reasonable sized portions. The only down side was that the vegetarian option was very poor, My friend ended up having bread and butter for his starter, mushroom risotto for his main and when he asked for the cheese board they had no blue cheeses, very disappointing !!

Very nice country pub, roaring fire with arm chairs situated around. Good atmosphere very friendly staff. Fourteen of of had a meal here last night, good choice of menu with all tastes catered for. Service was good and friendly. Nice pub with nice well kept beer, we will be returning again shortly.

Had a lunch time meal, very good selection of food on blackboard, sandwiches and ploughmens also avaiable. Very good service, barman and waitress very pleasant, nice atmosphere and good food. Recomended, we will be visiting again soon.

Group of eleven visited on 30th June 07 choice of food on the menu was very good. There was also a vegetarian menu. There was ample food and a lot of different vegetables. The service and atmosphere was excellent. We will be returning again very soon.

Visited on Easter Sunday 2007, table of nine. Adnams bitter was brilliant well kept and very nice. Food was very good as was the service and all the staff. Good value for money. The number of items on the menu was staggering. We will be going back again very soon.

The Fox Inn, Bury St Edmunds
Fourteen of us visited the Fox, mainly for the food. As the previous comments it is really a restaurant, which serves a good pint of GK. The food is very good value and vegetarians are catered for with a good selection of different dishes. Excellent pub, staff very good, the waiter was quite a comedian, we will be back...........
