| probably the best pub lunch I have ever had. I felt my children were more than welcome and enjoyed the fact that the pub has a large pub garden and recreation ground to the rear. the food was superb and great value. I disagree with the comments above as I felt my children were welcome (but I do expect my children to behave and display some manners when eating out! ) I found the atmosphere relaxing and the staff particulary friendly and helpful. | Very much a restaurant pub with most of the pub given over to dining tables. However, it still had two well kept ales on: Adnam's Bitter and Elgood's Cambridge Bitter. A modernly decorated gastro-feel pub. Did try, or even see, the food though. Rod_Hariga - 16 Oct 2008 19:22 |
| Visited the Queens Head again today with friends and had the most enjoyable lunch with excellent service and very good food from a menu that is adequate and sensibly priced. The pub has been refurbishesd recently in a most attractive way. I cannot vouch for the beer as cider is my 'tipple'. This was served nicely chilled. smallboy - 8 Aug 2008 22:08 |
| Visited on Easter Sunday 2007, table of nine. Adnams bitter was brilliant well kept and very nice. Food was very good as was the service and all the staff. Good value for money.
