Nicest bar in town - relaxed, friendly, has a touch of class.

Basically as rough as a badger's crotch!
Cheap average food & drink. Very long waits at the bar - but clean bogs.
If you love p****d up chav locals trying to fight with you on a friday night, you'll love this place!

"its reputation is probably bigger than the reality"
as someone said below!
Not bad, not particularly friendly (and I'm a local)
eg: Landlord barred someone for having a disabling illness. Nice!

Overpriced, a bit tatty and dirty. Not much more to say, really!

This *used* to be one of the finest pubs/eating houses in South Somerset - Completely full at the weekend with happy people noshing away on mid-range traditional pub fare.
No longer.
It's a sad ghost of itself. Exterior is weedy, the hanging baskets are empty, needs work done indoors & out. Food is lamentable, the staff apathetic* and the whole place needs a good clean, in & out. It's so sad to see how it's declined.
*example: decided to try this pub for an evening drink with a friend. She asked for a pineapple juice. Cue half-assed looking. None available. She then asked for an orange juice. Cue more half-assed looking. None available! This was 8pm on a Saturday night.
There were about 7 customers - those banned from the other pub in Henstridge & those "youthful" looking types!

Good, atmospheric local country pub. I don't drink alcohol so can't comment on the beers!
Full of locals and doesn't do food in the evenings - go somewhere else if you want a gastropub.
Low beamed ceilings and has the patina of age...
Small outdoor area with smoking shelter.

Coopers Mill, Yeovil
Completely soulless and lacking in charm. Built around 15yrs ago it tries to be a "Harvester" type of family venue. No luck - not much good, really!
