| lovely old pub but empty last sunday lunchtime because the sunday roast was the worst I have ever had, the roast potatoes and parsnip were deep fried the medley of "fresh" veg was over micro waved frozen value range supermarket veg, the beef whilst lots of it wasn't from an in house roasted joint, but served complete with gravy appeared to be preprepared frozen or boil in the birds eye style roast beef dinner, with every type of roast meat offered each plate must have been microwaved to order rather than any part prepared and cooked by a chef. However, the pub is lovely and the staff very pleasant even though they had nothing to do.
