Life Bar 1, Three Bridges

Thank god this place has completely changed. Could a pub get any more dire than it was? to quote an earlier entry "This Pub has now been Re furbished into a Yuppy Type Wine Bar/internet Cafe cum Resteraunt called Life Bar 1.No Real Ales on Sale,No Pool Tables,No Dart Board,No Juke Box.You are not allowed in if you are wearing either jeans or Trainers." Oh dear what a loss!! Its now classy, trendy and modern with a great selections of beers. And ofcourse its now normally full... the only thing that's missing are the chavs - shame. Well done guys - you've really turned this dire old pub stuck in an 80's time warp into something worth visiting. Great - lets have a few more makeovers in Crawley.

The Cherry Tree, Copthorne

A recently refurbed pub with good food and beer. Shame about the locals who think they own the place and refuse to allow you to get to the bar and were decidedly intimidating. Otherwise a gem of a place.

The Cricketers Arms, Wisborough Green

Excellent food. Starters would fill up most appetites! Good home made stuff but a fairly limited menu. The fajitas were superb and I would go back just for those. Beer is good and the staff very friendly. Often have live music on a Thursday and at the weekend. Be careful where you park, had our car damaged by some scumbag who clearly knew what he'd done but just drove off.

Oh dear. Thought I'd give this place a second look. The same people, in the same position at the bar. I'm sure 2 were dead but they'd just failed to removed the carcasses. Plus every chav in Sussex must hang out here on a Saturday eve. Beer was better than last visit but food was not good. Shame its got such great potential and has hardly got any competition now.

The Half Moon Inn, Balcombe

Nice small friendly village pub, expect the vicar and the scout master to be in there. Great! Nice bar maid too ;o) Beer good and a friendly atmosphere. Parking is not good when its busy.

Wow what a difference! Not visited this tired old pub for many months it was so dire before. Now its transformed with some great Green King beers, friendly staff and superb local food. Try the pork scratching behind the bar - a meal in themselves and home made. We went last week and the car park was full - something that has not happened in the week for many years. Well worth a visit, congrats to the owners and staff for turning the place around.

The White Horse, Pulborough

What a gem of a pub! All fullers beers kept to perfection. Lovely atmosphere and olde worlde feel. Food expensive but first class and requires booking. Lovely location. Well worth a visit!

The Oddfellows Arms, Pulborough

Hmmmm could be so much better. Full of chavs, and regulars that seem to live there and occupy the same seats 24/7. They could be waxworks? Nice pint of Pride...

The Cowdray Arms, Balcombe

Oh dear what has happened to this pub? Looks very tired, very few cutomers, zero atmosphere... Shame - has gone down hill rapidly over the last year or so...

The Frogshole Farm, Maidenbower

This pub was unfortunately severely fire damaged early in 2007. No great loss as a pub. Hopefully a new more appropriate pub will arise from the fire damaged restoration late 2007...
Food - Awful, Beer - Keggy overpriced crap, clientle - chavs, drug problem very evident, staff - rude.
