Okay I'll admit some bias because essentially the place is my local but the fact is I keep going up there regardless of how much a pint costs. The landlord Chris is a friendly and amicable chap and his family all follow suit. He has done an excellent job of keeping the place ticking over, I'm not going to sing the praises of the beer but the Bluebell remains a decent pub with a very decent landlord, it's friendly, it's welcoming, you rarely if ever get trouble there and there are a variety of events including Disco's, Cabaret evenings and Live Music which help inject some life into this dead and dying little village; worth a visit if you're in the area.

Nice pub for sure, best and worst points are the customers, 99% of them are a good bunch who I'll happily spend time with but then every now and then you get the odd tosser who comes in and bitches about the sparklers. Hey but as Cicero would say 'de gustibus non est disputandam' and all that... Thankfully the fact that the staff aren't deferential wretches but are instead human beings with a bit of character seems to scare off the real morons.
By the way, the pints look great.

The Jolly Drover, Hill Brow
The Drover's one of the more traditional pubs in the area and particularly good with it. A decent selection of beers including a good London Pride, and (currently) Doombar. The landlord, Barry, is a great bloke and makes the place particularly welcoming. Other added benefits are the big leather Chesterfields, the open log fire and the relaxed atmosphere. Can't really comment on the food or accomodation but I've heard from others that it is very good. If you're unlucky enough to have to come near Liss then I'd recommend drowning your sorrows here.
