The Canton Arms, South Lambeth
A decent pub, with 3 real ales on when I went and friendly staff. Beers are a bit expensive but there isn't much competition since the Albert tried and failed to make a go of it.

Good beers and an eclectric range of clientale. Children welcome and we played games from the collection. Would certainly use it again if in the area. Interior was shabby chic and fine.
The couple next to us complained that their FOOD order had been forgotton. Profuse apologies and meals reduced to half price, so if they do make mistakes at least they work to amend.

Went in there last summer but did not stay for a drink. The customers in the public bar were rowdy, which is fine but there seemed something unpleasent about it. Confirmed when one of the punters belched loudly and looked challengingly around in our direction!
A shame as it is a lovely looking pub.

Been there just for footie games, where it does the trick with a telly and big screen. Bar staff were friendly but no real ale available. Would not make it a destination pub.

Screens are good but on my three visits they have never had a real ale on. The pub always seems too large for the amount of people in it, and there is a small minority who bring the place down.
A pity as the choice for pubs in the area is not large

Went to this pub a couple of years ago and had a very nice pint in the snug. Was hoping to repeat that this year. When I went in the snug however the bar staff did not seem to want to be bothered. They knew I was there but did not come round from the main bar, and continued their converstaion with friends. I left without service, a pity as this is a very atmospheric pub.

Ended up in the Queens Head on a Sunday afternoon over christmas because the other pubs were shut. Not many people in and a bit tired. Seemed a good place to watch a game and served a pint of Adnams, but would have prefered a place a bit more cosy over the festive period.

Visited on a cold Sunday lunchtime and found the pub fine. The two beers that were on were both in good condition, and the food was (admittedly nachos) good. Would come back again.

This pub is the nearest decent one if living in Lee. Friendly bar staff and a good range of well kept ales whenever I have visited. The atmosphere is pretty convivial and the seating encourages a certain coziness.
Have been away from the area for about 9 years and pleasently surprised to find the pub as good as when I left it!

Lovely pub with friendly staff and great beer (Palmers). Didn't eat there but food looked good and others have said excellent.

Great pub all round. The decor is relaxing, the beer is really good and the service prompt. Watched the Arsenal Liverpool game and the views were excellent and the atmosphere great. Will be back

landlady was good, answering questions about the village and being helpful. Two real ales of IPA and Youngs were on, I had the IPA and a fine pint it was. Quiet on a late sat afternoon. Pub could do with a refurbishment to give it a cosier feel, which would then compliment its view over the village duck pond.

The Ashburnham Arms, Greenwich
Went there on Friday with my 7 yr old daughter. Beer was superb, and service good. Children very welcome. The pizza's were maybe not pizzeria std, but my American Hot was actually that, a pleasent change for most pub pizzas. Lovely local

The Royal Albert, South Lambeth
Very good pub. Always has two real ales on, and bar snacks are good value and filling. Staff are great and friendly, and there is a good pub garden for the warmer weather.

A rubbish pub since change of ownership. Previously a steady local, fine for a Monday night after playing footie.
Last went there in summer 2007. They had been constantly having beers running out, and finally ended up having run out of all draught beers and bar snacks! Also had to avoid various drunken "fights" that never quite materialised. It has now since been closed, small wonder

The Jolly Sailor, Orford
Stayed in Orford and went to this pub twice. The first time we ate; the menu was extensive and varied; good value and delicious. The service is very good. We wanted to move from the large table reserved for us to a smaller one. This was sorted out quickly and with good humour.
The pub is an Adnams one, and had three good real ales from their range. There was also a roaring wood stove at one end of the bar and a smaller one at the other, fantastic on a cold night. What is more the pub rambles over three rooms, very atmosperic
Fairly busy without being packed, will certainly come back when next in the vicinity.
