Very small inside and ditto with the beer garden and car park A locals place by the looks of it as although it’s situated just off the A35 it’s not advertised Only a few people were in,none whom we’re eating but there was a delightful lingering scent so clearly people had been earlier Lots of ales on hand pumps but I forgot to check the cider selection There were also plenty of vintage military and police hats and helmets by the toilets so you can take a few selfies of yourself wearing them wooser - 6 Jul 2023 22:50 |
Went here yesterday and thought it was very, very good. The food is delicious! if a little expensive, but hey, if you want fresh, home cooked good food i guess you have to pay for it! Lovely warm, friendly atmosphere. We are definately returning. Would have given it a 10 if it was slightly cheaper. Well done the Crown. Winny - 25 Dec 2009 13:08 |
Lovely pub with friendly staff and great beer (Palmers). Didn't eat there but food looked good and others have said excellent. Barneylad - 21 Apr 2008 12:09 |
Visited on 16 Dec 2006. Great food and a superb pint of Palmers Copper Ale. I had forgotton that this beer can actually be quite good if served well. Have obviously spent too much time in Bridport where it's generally rubbish. A great pub that deserves all the praise it gets. Hops around the bar - good mixed clientele and very pleasant country pub surroundings. johnny.sausage - 23 Dec 2006 11:16 |
