been a few times, most recently just after Christmas 2011. Good place for quiet night out, or a coffee, or sharing a bottle of wine. Have eaten in bar and pretty good selection and quality. Staff are attentive and on the ball. Not the place to go if you're looking for a pint of old harry's.......Travelodge virtually opposite if you want cheap stay

'the place to be' for the rich folk that live locally and don't want to go into town to show off. manager/owner (?) was rude and sitting around looking grumpy. its a bar and restaurant so best to stick to wine. certainly not cheap and full of mutton dressed as lamb types. well they have to go somewhere i suppose.

You certainly wouldnt find me having a beer during the evening in here. Maybe youd catch my grandparents sharing a bottle of wine though!

Good for people that dont do pubs.

Nice bar, I have been there about six times now. They have a terrific Jazz singer (lady) whose partner plays the Sax Mondays to Thursdays. We normally buy three rounds of drinks (my wife and I) for a total of about 35. Worth every penny as they discourage the riff raff.

Staff very friendly to us and the quality of the drinks are superb. We have eaten many more times int he Restaurant, about a 100 a couple and the food is excellent.

The reviewer who claimed it would be more fitting in Knoghtsbrodge is probably right, but it is going to be a home from home for myself and my lady wife!

Really nice decor, all wood, brown leather sofas and twinkly white lights in bar area. V upmarket.

Staff were really friendly am suprised at previous comments otherwise.

Once went in on a Friday night not too busy or smokey and although drinks are quite expensive great selection and you can even have cocktails. Second visit sat in there on a cold late sunday afternoon drinking divine coffee in a really relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.

Havent eaten in restaurant but hear its good.

Excellent if you fancy going somewhere that bit nicer......
