What an awful, insulting experience! Despite the fact that my friend rpeviously got us on the guestlist, enquired about dress code and spent half the day dressing up the bouncers were laughing at us in a pretty derogatory fashion, and turned us away openly saying 2we idn't look classy enough to attend the venue"! I questioned this, and asked if we went back to mine, which is nearby and changed into designer dresses if we could come back. my friend added she could not wear heels as she recently damamged her back. They said monly people with stilletos can come in, they turned us down. I noticed other girls with heels were allowed to go in no problemo! It appeared that only people who fitted a certain "mould" were allowed to attend this nightclub! If you are looking for a classy, but down to earth, friendly venue, i certainly wouldnt come here! N20 seemed like the epitamy of a pretentious but chavy club, with not much in hand to be pretentious about! anya25 - 18 Jul 2010 17:25 |
Very trendy, and aprantly now under new managment its called UPstairs now... quality looking place with live music now and a HELL OF LOT cheaper than before both food and drink! well worth checking out rob1881 - 2 Feb 2005 13:23 |
not a bad place but a bit spendy! haven't eaten here but the food looks very good, and you can see it being made too which is a plus. good for somewhere to bring the ladies of an evening. not somewhere for the Bull and Butcher crowd to think about going. Simon - 7 Sep 2004 16:07 |
Trendy cocktail bar attached to a nice-and-pricey restaurant. Quite quiet, which is a shame considering that it's bringing up the general tone of the area. However, the chav clientelle who inhabit the other boozers in NF also stay clear, which is a major plus-point. finchletarian - 19 Aug 2004 14:57 |
