Now we are talking. Excellent couple IPAs here, in a nicely decorated bar with pleasant fellow punters. Best pub on kings road IMHO. TommyRogers1979 - 20 Sep 2014 22:46 |
BEWARE!! This place applies a stealth, as in unmentioned, anywhere, 12.5% service charge for bar snacks. I was told this was added as a tip! Arrogant twats. Anyway, read on for a further review. Visited yesterday. The Cadogan is a vast space, and looks as if it could be part of some hotel in the Highlands. Nice. Some attractive taxidermy and artwork. It was quiet on a Wednesday afternoon, just 5 other customers in total for the 90 minutes I was there (the less said about them the better). Boring selection of beers, Pride, Adnams Bitter and John Smiths cask (sarcastic mmmmmmm!). I was served a short measure of Pride which was topped up on request. Dropped in after a trip to the Natural History Museum, and, although it looked nice, it felt very empty and I wont be hurrying back. shand83 - 13 Jan 2011 17:55 |
Called in 3 times this week as we were staying just around the corner. Pride was fine. LickeyEndBooze - 2 Jan 2011 19:24 |
Enjoyed a pint of Adnams bitter also Broadside and London Pride available so not a bad selection and priced at 330p a pint but this is Chelsea. Overall a nice corner pub with a pool table room upstairs. hogshead - 22 Feb 2010 09:53 |
Now run by the ETM Group so you can now get some decent food in here as well as a drink. Love the snooker room upstairs. The whole place feels a bit too smart (hardly surprising given the Sloaney location) but its still comfortable and the bar staff are nice enough. Lovely French waitress who copes well with the little dining section. Food is well worth a try, whether you go for the posh nosh or the pub classics. Both are good. BlackCherry - 25 Sep 2009 00:50 |
