Good food, reasonable selection of drinks, bit over priced in my opinion. The_mystery_drinker - 14 Feb 2012 11:21 |
Visited today 15th August 2010. It was one of the worst "Sunday dinner" experiences ever experienced with utter crap service. Cold food. Tiny portions which were insufficient to go around our group. Bad management yet again. Why do managers allow a business to perform this badly? I'd advise you to spend your money and time elswhere. zzardy - 15 Aug 2010 20:04 |
My wife and I took our mothers here for a meal on Mother's Day. While I concede that this isn't really a pub, the beer and wine were really good, TT Landlord and Adnam's Bitter were on. The food was delicious and the service very good. I have been visiting the Cock Inn on and off for years, it was the first place I brought my wife (or girlfriend as she was then) for a meal in the 1980s and it has always given good service and good food. Well done! generalstaal - 23 Mar 2009 17:34 |
The car park - as previous commentators have mentioned - is a (mature) WAG-fest of semi-personalised number plates on X5s etc. Cher1L Bev 216 W4ynetta etc. But, for round there - as a businessman of the non-tax-evading type - it does well enough for a pint and a pasta at lunchtime. grovetown - 6 Nov 2008 20:39 |
