Expensive but probably worth it as the service was great and we had an outside table overlooking the sea. I ignored the London Pride and Timothy Taylor Landlord in favour of a pint of the more local Wolf Brewery's Sirius Dog Star which was £5.40 (the cost of every other pint I had in Norfolk last weekend started with a 4 but, to be fair, this one was better than most of the others) and my chargrilled gilthead bream was also a whopping £28.50. Well-behaved dogs (and owners) too.

Another revamp... Definitely more of an eating pub, but nice enough with attentive staff.. A couple of points though; Watch the prices on the high end beers... Neck oil = £6.50 a pint!!! And it wasn't the only one... The standard beers were Wild Norfolk, a gluten free IPA plus a couple more.. Also, still table service as of Jan 27th 2022 ages after Boris had scrapped that ridiculous rule!!! This must be rammed in Summer, and it's a pleasant place, but I always feel not quite the correct fit for seafront Sheringham..

Nice pub right on the seafront. It feels a bit 'chain pub', but I'm not sure who owns it. Food looked good, but maybe a couple of pounds per main overpriced. A roaring fire and four beers would definitely make me recommend this pub. George Gayle Seafairers, Doom bar, lighthouse ale and my favourite Sirius Dog Star, a red beer from the Wolf brewery at Attleborough.
