| Here again, but with grandchildren, so appreciated the good weather while they enjoyed using the play facilities away from the bars (not to disturb the punters) but close enough to the beer garden. Cotleigh's Golden Seahawk on tap was OK but switched to St Austell's Proper Job. The pub's exterior belies its 17th century beginnings. Food was fine and good value. brianagain - 29 Jul 2012 22:43 |

| Plain exterior, but much better on the inside. Two beers on offer (Butcombe and Plastered Pheasant from Quantock Brewery) plus Thatchers cider. The lunchtime meal was good value and all the better for beng washed down with the tasty winter offering from Quantock. brianagain - 27 Jan 2011 21:33 |
