Had a facelift in Feb/March 2013, not that it was really required... It has freed up more space though with the loss of the pool table. Guest ale was Okels Bitter @ 3.7% ABV which is very hoppy. Barrow_Beer_Hunter - 2 Apr 2013 13:49 |
I ate here with my family on Christmas eve 2012 around lunchtime and food was spot on again.. Guest ale was York Brewery Three Kings which is a dark ruby ale @ ABV 4.5%. Very friendly, good beer, good food, darts, pool... What more can I say! Barrow_Beer_Hunter - 7 Jan 2013 13:44 |
Good local pub. As with most Everards pubs the interior is lovely, and the staff very friendly. Last few times I have ate here the food has been great (both bar and restaurant). Usually a guest ale as well as Tiger, Beacon etc... Barrow_Beer_Hunter - 4 May 2012 14:04 |
Had lunch here recently, nice quiet pub, piped music(annoying) good bar menu(plenty of variety) specials etc.We had two home made burgers with chunky chips, salad and salsa, warm chicken with chips salad and coleslaw, and venison with garlic mash carrots brocoli and mashed swede. All excellent. Just a shame about the over use of bleach. The licencee's have also won an award this year and are of to scotlland for a few days as there prize, all courtesy of EVERARDS BREWERY. rolliedee - 9 Apr 2009 23:19 |
