I now work at this pub and it just gets better and better, friendly, great atmosphere. :-) Catess76 - 7 Jul 2011 11:04 |
The Grapes is a great pub, needs more customers though, more nice customers. The locals and regulars that drink there are all very friendly, older clientelle, very welcoming and are all really nice people. Its a shame that there just arn't a few more people going in to create the atmosphere that is so easily created in this snug, small warm and cosy little pub. Nice Landlord Roy, very relaxed, and friendly, pleasant staff. Its all very welcoming. Just a bit quiet at times, but this could easily change if just a few more people visited more frequently. It doesn't take many to fill this pub and create a good atmosphere. Its one of the more 'classy' quality pubs of edgeley. Has a great little pool room, amazing juke box...8 songs for 1.00 !!!!!! Unbeleivable and the landlord doesn't mind having it on at a reasonable level either whatever the time. its a nice safe and friendly pub that deserves more visits by more nice people. !!! :-) I love it !!! Called on break from Stockport Beer festival. Most welcoming landlord and landlady and pubs looked to have been cleaned up greathly since similar visit last year. Couple of Robinson's brews on including Unicorn and seasonal bitter, both in tip top condition. AlRobis - 8 Jun 2010 21:32 |
